Amy & Greg’s Wedding Picture Preview
Romantic Creative Wedding PIctures at the Manor House
Over Memorial Day weekend Amy & Greg hosted a grand wedding for hundreds of guests from as far as California and South Florida. The day started at the historic Manor House in Littleton. While the wedding party got dressed the guests were treated to mimosas and hor d’oeuvres. This is such a great idea to have guests arrive well before the ceremony, as they get a chance to mingle and explore the mansion before they have to take their seats.

Lace with a little bling! The sparkly shoes and delicate handmade garter.
Amy looked absolutely stunning in her Leila Rose wedding dress that she found at the local bridal boutique, Anna Be Bridal. A delicate lace gown and garter with sparkly accessories were a perfect match. And the groom had a unique wedding style of his own with a grey suit, fun bow tie, suspenders, and a colorful handkerchief, thanks to designer Hugo Boss.

A special moment is captured below when the father of the bride sees his daughter all dressed up in her wedding gown for the first time just moments before the ceremony begins.

The ceremony was personal & memorable, as Amy wrote most of it herself. Pastor Keith Horstman did a wonderful job officiating their ceremony, and many heartfelt moments were shared, particularly when Amy & Greg read their vows to each other and exchanged rings.

We rushed to get some romantic portraits of the bride and groom done outside before the storm approached.

With high winds and rain we had to finish up family & wedding party portraits inside, but thankfully the Manor House has a beautiful interior room for pictures. I love this shot below of the joy on everyone’s faces.

And now its time for the wedding reception in downtown Denver. The wedding party makes their way to Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House.

The fun and entertaining wedding band, Soul School, quickly had everyone on the dance floor. This was one of the best wedding bands I’ve seen in a while, with multiple singers rotating between old school classics, to rock and rap, and a ton of energy to keep the party going all night.
Their wedding band Soul School rocks the house!
There was no doubt that with a fun photo booth and a lively band that everyone was having fun at the reception. At one point in the night a game of limbo even broke out on the dance floor.

A lot of their reception decor had a Colorado mountain theme tied in such as aspen bark used to decorate their unity candle, (as can be seen in the photo below). Their wedding cake, created by Kelley Kakes, was also decorated to resemble aspen. And dessert lovers were in heaven as not only did they have a delicious cake to try, but a wide variety of desserts such as pecan pie, chocolate covered strawberries, and so much more, yum!

With so much entertainment and two beautiful Colorado venues, this will certainly be a wedding to remember. I was honored to be a part of Amy & Greg’s special day and as I’m sure their friends and family can attest to, there’s no doubt that they will live Happily Ever After.
