Releasing Shame & Reclaiming Yourself

For so many of us women, shame has been taught to us and feared by us. It has been woven into our lives since before we even understood what it all meant.

We were taught to dim, to hide, to make ourselves smaller - to tone it down, cross our legs, and keep our desires tucked neatly out of sight.

And yet, deep down…we know better.

We know we're not meant to live in shame or regret, just for being ourselves. Why do we have to hide or pretend? To make others feel better?

And for many of us we reach a time in our lives (that was 40 for me) when we start to question society's direction. And a voice inside starts whispering louder and louder, “there's more to life, It’s time”

Time to let go, to leave your old self behind, and to live more freely.

Time to express the parts of us that were labeled too wild, too emotional, too sexy, too much. Because the truth is, those parts aren’t too anything. They are the most honest pieces of who we are.

I know this journey personally - the slow unraveling of shame and learning to feel comfortable in my own skin, and to feel safe in my desires.

Safe to let myself move, to be loud, to be seen.

Safe to express myself in all my sensual, erotic, and powerful ways. That’s what true embodiment is - not a performance, not perfection, but stepping into yourself fully.

And when we do this together, as women, in sisterhood, something magical happens.

Walls drop. Tears flow. Laughter bursts.

We remember that we’re not broken. We never were.

We’ve just been disconnected from our truth.
