bride and groom share a kiss outside Villa Parker
If your favorite holiday is Halloween, why not combine marrying the love of your life with your love for costumes and fun?! Liz and Tim got married on Halloween day, so now their favorite holiday will also be their wedding anniversary. Liz had heard through a former client of mine that I was a unique artistic photographer that loved photographing rebellious and alternative weddings that were a little different then the norm, and she couldn’t be more correct! I’m so glad they found me, their free-spirit and creativity made them so much fun to work with!
Villa Parker was the perfect venue for their Halloween masquerade wedding. The Mediterranean style of the villa with its stone walls and outdoor lighting complimented their Halloween theme really well. The staff at Villa Parker is also great to work with and their large vintage inspired bridal suite is so useful for the girls to get ready in, and also photographs beautifully. Liz’s stunning red dress was perfect for a Halloween masquerade wedding. And her red shoes, black sequin mask, and red feathered hair piece were perfect unique accessories. The groom wore a complimentary black and silver suit with his own matching black mask. Their wedding day was filled with all kinds of unique details from vintage key bottle openers used as place cards to a champagne toasts complete with chocolate kisses. And of course since it was Halloween they had a candy bar for dessert, along with their unique bundt wedding cake. Scroll down and keep on reading to see what other alternative wedding details and fun moments were documented at this masquerade wedding at Villa Parker.

Most of their friends and family showed up in their own Halloween costumes, colorful ballgowns, and Renaissance attire. And just to make sure everyone could partake in the Halloween spirit, the bride and groom also made sure to have enough masks for each of their guests to wear one. And the bride and groom took out their own carefully chosen black masks to wear for their wedding reception.

Their wedding was a blast and I’m sure as all their guests would agree, a great unique way to spend Halloween night! I’m so glad I got to be a part of their fun masquerade wedding, and my assistant photographer and I even got dressed up ourselves in the Halloween spirit. I’ve never posted from a wedding day a photo of myself, or my assistant, but this was a unique situation with costumes that deserved to be shown off 😉 Happy Halloween!
