Having met as young teenagers in school, Elizabeth & Kevin have a fairy tale love story, which only deserved a fairy tale wedding. Every detail of their wedding day was carefully selected from the wedding professionals they chose to work with to the shoes on their feet…and even a wedding cake that resembled Elizabeth’s unique wedding dress. Their wedding day was full of custom details and surprises.

With the help of Mark Christopher Weddings‘ team, the day took off to a great start right on schedule. Everyone had been anxiously waiting all year for this day to arrive, and it was hard to believe it was finally here!

As the girls got primped and pampered in the upstairs bridal suites, the guys played poker and hung out in their lounge downstairs. Thankfully the mansion is so large that it gives the wedding party and family plenty of room to spread out without the worry of the bride & groom accidentally running into each other before the start of the ceremony.

I love this candid shot below of the bride coming up the stairs through the metal railings. If you look carefully, there are random hearts artistically built into the decor and architecture around different parts of the mansion.

For their ceremony on the front lawns of the Highlands Ranch Mansion they rented a variety of unique vintage ceremony chairs from Chairished Vintage Rentals.

Unfortunately reality is not always the fairy tale you read about. And just as the ceremony was scheduled to start a windy rain storm decided to delay the wedding. Thankfully with proper planning there was enough large umbrellas to keep everyone dry, which could have quickly turned into a hundred soaking wet guests if it wasn’t for the fashionable matching umbrellas by Splendor For Your Guests

As soon as the weather cleared the sun came out, dried everyone up, and brought a bright warm glow for the remaining of the ceremony.

The grounds may have gotten went, but no ones spirits were dampened and everyone was thrilled to see these two love birds finally tie the knot.

Of course a vintage wedding wouldn’t be complete without a few vintage cars. The wedding party fashionably arrived to the ceremony in these antique cars provided by Excursions Limousine & DDG Classic Limousines. They stuck around for some fun pictures with the wedding party and then Elizabeth & Kevin made their grand exit at the end of the night riding off in one of these classic beauties.

The ballroom was elaborately decorated with soft white draping, vintage furniture, and the perfect lighting to tie it all together.

Each table was decorated with floral centerpieces, vintage framed dinner menus, and even delicately rolled rose napkins which not only matched the tips of the silverware, but the bridesmaids’ dresses as well.

After the ceremony the bride changed into her evening outfit, a stunning satin gown complete with a jeweled hair piece and long jeweled pendant reminiscent of the vintage era of The Great Gatsby. The rain delay cut into some of our photography time so we made sure to sneak the couple out after dinner to capture this beautiful golden glow during sunset as seen below.

The band Soul X by Starkey Entertainment did an amazing job covering top popular and classic songs. Everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along that the rain was long forgotten.

The band even convinced Elizabeth & Kevin to sing backup for a song.

The wedding turned out to be a fairy tale after all, as everyone left full of high spirits and joy. This will certainly be a wedding day many people will never forget.
There were so many amazing wedding professionals that helped pull this whole event together that I had to try to list them all, I hope I didn’t forget anyone!
