Denver engagement pictures with dog Lola
Krista, Brice, & Lola’s Lifestyle Engagement Session
Krista & Brice have a four legged hairy baby named Lola. They adopted Lola together as an engaged couple, so it only made sense for her to be a part of some of their engagement pictures. It is always a little more of a challenge taking pictures with a dog – they just don’t want to smile when you tell them to, hehe, but I do love dogs and was more then happy to include her in our session. Krista & Brice also love their Denver Capitol Hill neighborhood, so I first met them at their apartment for pictures around their neighborhood. When my husband & I first moved to Denver, we lived around this Capitol Hill neighborhood and I used to ride my bike and walk my dog all around this area, so I was excited when we came up with the idea to stay in their neighborhood for pictures. The light was intense this day so we had fun experimenting with the shadows, sun glare, and the colors just popped with vibrancy around us. Once their dog Lola decided her guest appearance time was up, we left her behind and strolled further around the neighborhood with photo stops along various interesting cafes, walls, gardens, and even driveways. We ended the photo session at sunset in Cheeseman Park, where we goofed off around the beautiful Greek acropolis on top of the hill.
