I had such a great time photographing Tosha & Jason’s intimate wedding at the Wellshire Inn. As a former model, Tosha knew the importance of photography so she set aside extra time on the wedding day for pictures and gave me full artistic freedom to get creative. I had never photographed at the Wellshire Inn before, so I was also excited about photographing at a new venue. The Wellshire Inn is a great Denver wedding venue, with lots of unique antique doorways, hallways, and decor. It is also a golf course, which means lots of green outdoor areas for pictures! And since I knew Tosha would be up for anything creative I brought along my vintage lace parasol that I used for my pictures on my wedding day. I have never let anyone use it before for pictures, but when Tosha told me about her outfit I knew it would be a great compliment to her photos, check it out below!
Tosha & Jason’s vintage wedding was definitely unique with a birdcage veil, the groom in a Western suit & jeans, and a table full of pies (from Living the Sweet Life), instead of the traditional wedding cake. It was also great to be working with wedding professionals I know well and enjoy working with – Stalls Video documented the wedding, Tussie Mussie created the flowers, Cynthia from Magnifica Bella did the makeup, and A Music Plus was the DJ.
Tosha & Jason were so ready for this day. When I did their engagement session in January they pretty much had their whole wedding day already planned out and where as calm as can be. And as Tosha’s friend on Facebook it has been fun to see her posts about being so excited to tie the knot with Jason. Now they can set their FB status to “married” and celebrate this new chapter in their lives.
